End of an era & the next chapter for Grow Lightly

The Grow Lightly Shop Team, had the last Tuesday delivery day at our Coal Creek Hub before our big move to the new location, The Korumburra Railway Station.

With local growers and producers popping by to drop off their goods, ready to be picked and packed for customer orders the following day.

Lucy, our super duper shop manager was busy sorting out and receiving deliveries and the amazing team of volunteers, lead by Helen, got to work as they do each week, but with both a little sadness for the end of this era, and a lot of excitement for the new chapter for Grow Lightly.

We've said it before, and we'll never stop saying it, we LOVE our AMAZING volunteers, without you this work could not be done, and our community is all the better for each and every single one of you who help out regularly or casually- when you can, every extra helping hand makes the biggest difference, thank you, thank you, thank you!

And lastly but definitely not least, to our local Growers and Producers, your hard work and behind the scenes.... planning, weeding, seed saving, organic pest management, juggling of the seasonal ups and downs, balancing work life with family life and growing food for our community does not go unnoticed.

We might not be there beside you every step of the way, but we can taste the results of your hard work with every bite, and nourish ourselves with locally grown and produced food, grown by organic methods with the knowledge that this is the best you can get because it's come from our region or as close to it as possible, and it's full of all the good stuff, every bite counts.
